Teledyne RD Instruments is pleased to announce the release of WinRiver II, which replaces our flagship WinRiver software. Based on your input, WinRiver II boasts many new features and enhancements designed to help you perform your job more efficiently.
New features included in WinRiver II:
- Direct support of StreamPro. When using a Bluetooth equipped laptop computer you can collect data with your StreamPro ADCP, which is now included in the Configuration Wizard. You will also be able to see much more detail in your StreamPro data in real-time using the various graphs and tabular views in WinRiver II.
- Entire data file is now resident in memory when playing data back. This new feature allows you to scroll back and forth through a data file, making detailed analysis much easier and more efficient.
- New end user configurable ASCII-out utility. Now you can choose exactly which data parameters you want to output in ASCII format, with more parameters available than ever before. Once you locate the parameters that you find most useful, you can save a template and use those selections on other data files.
- Integrated measurement management. You can now quickly and easily see what files are associated with a set of data files (data, configuration, ASCII-out, etc.) When you make a configuration change that you want to apply to all of the files in the measurement, you can replay all of the files with that change via a single mouse click.
- More graphic options available. You now have much more control over the appearance of your graphic displays. You can easily select among the various data types available, and create graphs customized to your particular applications. For instance, it's now easy to create a stacked contour plot showing the intensities of all four beams -- and you can save the newly designed graph to use on other data files. On the contour plots, you can zoom in on the data to see more detail.
- Expanded and improved configuration wizard. The wizard is easier to use and includes direct support of Mode 12 (an option on your Rio Grande.) The instrument's frequency and serial number are automatically retrieved for you.
- Section-by-Section upgrade
for WinRiver II is now available! This upgrade offers you section-by-section
capability using our new WinRiver II software. This provides you with very detailed
views of your Rio Grande and/or StreamPro data. >>details
