What: ADCPs in Action 2009 User's Conference/Product Training
ADCPs in Action is a forum that was conceived by Teledyne RDI back in 2000
to bring their community together for a lively exchange of information between
ADCP/DVL users, industry experts, and third party manufacturers. 2009 will mark
our 7th highly successful ADCPs in Action event.
This users’ conference is designed to allow Teledyne RDI’s customers
to network, share information, and continually learn from one another regarding
new and innovative uses of ADCPs and DVLs for scientific, commercial, and military
applications. This year’s event will also have a strong focus on product
training and data analysis. Whether you're a first time user, or a seasoned veteran,
you’re sure to walk away from this event with new and valuable information,
as well as new industry contacts to help you continually grow and learn as a
professional.
We are anticipating over 200 attendees at our 09 event.

Event highlights will include:
- Three days of morning sessions dedicated to presentations given by customers
and industry expects detailing highly relevant and interesting flow measurement,
current profiling, waves measurement, and Doppler navigation applications.
- Three
full afternoons dedicated to a wide array of ADCP/DVL product and application
training sessions designed for all levels of users.
- Data analysis clinics: bring
your data, bring your questions - we’ll
have the answers.
- Poster paper presentations - present your own, or review
those presented by your peers.
- One-on-one meetings with our highly skilled field
service professionals to sort out any nagging questions or concerns.
- Key third-party
manufacturers (co-sponsors) on-site to provide you with turnkey solutions and
answers for your next deployment.
- Ample networking opportunities throughout the day -including the
return of our fabulous Casino Night. That event alone should get you on an airplane!

Call for Poster Papers!
With the growing popularity of this event, it’s becoming apparent that
more people want to play a direct role in ADCPs in Action. Our speaker list is
limited, so to offset this demand, we’ve implemented a poster paper track.
For those that would like to present their timely and applicable study or field
work in a less formal manner, we’ll be happy to review your poster paper
for inclusion in our poster paper session. All posters will be made available
for viewing in a prominent area throughout the course of the event.
Interested parties can submit their abstract via our online
submission form for consideration no later than August 15, 2009. Questions

We are
happy to offer a limited number of $100 discounts on
